Meet The Team
Paul Foster
Removal Consultant
Paul started working for the business at age 10. He started out by helping his father Maurice on the trucks for pocket money and never left!
He took over the business when his father passed away and became Company Director in 2003 making him the 4th generation of the Foster family to run the removal firm. He now specialises as the company’s Removal Consultant. He carries out house surveys to provide expert advice on the logistics and costings of removals.
Méabh Foster
Office Manager
With a strong background in office administration, Paul’s wife Méabh joined the family business as a Company Director in 2018.
Méabh oversees the running of the office, deals with removal enquiries, books house surveys and sends out removal quotations to potential customers.
Paul O’Kane
Sales Manager
Paul started working with Fosters Removals in 2015 as a porter on the trucks. A natural with customers and a hard worker, he quickly became as asset to the company and went through his HGV Class 2 driving qualification and driver CPC within a few months of starting.
Paul has been the Sales Manager since 2021, dealing directly with customers and referral partners. Paul is the first point of contact for customers when it comes to their removal. With years of experience, there is nothing he doesn’t know about moving house!
John Coid
Transport Manager and Team Leader
With many years in the transport industry, John joined Fosters in 2020 as a Team Leader. With great customer service and leadership skills, he was promoted to Transport Manager having successfully completed his Transport Manager qualification in early 2022. John is
responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of all vehicles and assists with the planning and logistics of all our removals.
Barbara Foster
Office Administrator
Barbara has worked in Fosters since her late husband Maurice took over the company from his father in the 1970s. Barbara has looked after our customers with advice and support for almost 50 years and now works alongside her son Paul and daughter-in-law Meabh in making sure our standards of service are as high as they’ve always been.
Sharon Hayes
Accounts Manager
Sharon joined Fosters in 2018 as a Finance Administrator. With her attention to detail, Sharon manages customer invoices and the company’s financial accounts. Sharon also helps with answering phone and email enquiries and general admin in the office.
Jake Scott
Porter
Jake has been with Foster and Sons since 2017. Starting off as a Junior porter whilst in College, he is now our most experienced Porter. With a qualification in Warehousing, he also helps Transport Manager John maintaining our warehouse and looking after customers goods while in Storage.
Courtney Hagans
Office Administrator
Courtney has recently joined our growing team. Courtney is the first point of contact for our customers, guiding them through the whole removal process, from getting a quote to moving day itself. She deals with all the paperwork and is here to answer any questions customers have about moving house. If you call into the office, you will meet Courtney on our reception desk.
